We set out to change the face of the fitness industry and we’re getting there! We began life back in 2007. The idea was conceived by an expert team who had spent years watching huge numbers of people failing to reach their body goals. Their research unearthed a heap of negatives surrounding people’s experience of losing weight, shaping up, building muscle tone and getting fit. For many, gyms were inconveniently located, memberships and contracts off-putting, they were impersonal, intimidating and overcrowded, and there was no real motivation. Dieting was hard work and often produced yo-yo results.

A new way forward was needed and Movers & Shapers was born. The quality of both our unique approach to training and the state-of-the-art equipment we use has been recognised by the national press, sportspeople and celebrities.

Our blueprint is for everybody, regardless of age, lifestyle or fitness level: a 360° approach to overall health and well-being; a familiar environment, more like a retail store or salon, handily located to pop in while working or out shopping; a personal intimate feel; motivation; no contracts or joining fee; and most importantly, building activity into every day to produce real long term results.

We’re backed by some of the health and retail industry’s leading figures and have invested heavily in programme development, store and concept design and training. With several stores and studios now open and hundreds of happy and loyal clients, we are on the expansion trail.
